From the Navy to Truman Street

The Film Crew Automotive started the way a lot of good shops do: with someone who couldn’t stand seeing work done halfway. Our founder, Adrian, served in the U.S. Navy, where the standard isn’t “close enough.” Equipment gets maintained to spec, checklists get finished, and the job is done when it’s done right, not when it’s done fast. He brought that home to the San Fernando Valley and built a film shop around it.

That background shapes how this shop runs in ways customers feel more than see. Patterns are cut by computer before film ever meets your vehicle, because a blade near your glass or paint is an unnecessary risk. Surfaces get prepped like it matters, because it does. And when we say a lifetime warranty, we mean the useful kind, the kind honored by a shop with a fixed address and a person who answers the phone.

We became an authorized exclusive Autobahn dealer for the same reason. Carrying a manufacturer’s flag means every install is registered and warrantied by them as well as by us. Accountability stacked on accountability. We like it that way.

Today the shop serves drivers, homeowners, and businesses across San Fernando, Sylmar, Pacoima, Mission Hills, and the wider Valley, plus plenty of folks who make the drive from elsewhere in Los Angeles because they’d rather do this once, properly.
